Abstract
This study comprised a group of 18 cardio-surgical patients. Anesthesia was provided by target controlled infusion (TCI) of propofol and sufentanil. The postoperative analgesic regimens, based on i.v. continuous administration of alfentanil, sufentanil or fentanyl, were pharmacokinetically simulated by Stangraf™ software (Microsoft® & Greenleaf® Inc., Stanford, USA). The interdependence of analgesic regimens with the effects of post anesthetical residues of opioids was also revealed. The aim of this study was to offer the possibility of individualization of analgesic regimens in postoperative periods, but the presented results need to be also clinically proved.
