Abstract

The practice of anesthesia and critical care medicine has undergone significant changes over the past decade. This lecture defines some of the management principles that apply to the practice of anesthesia and critical care medicine, on behalf of patient care and anesthesia practice, in order to maximize the opportunities for this specialty in USA.
