Abstract

A method for marking systolic arterial pressure figures, on a 100 points arbitrary scale is presented, which in fact evidences the cerebral risk of the patient (mark 100=minimal risk; mark 30=maximal risk meaning unconsciousness). On this scale the patient receives a mark in relation to his basic systolic arterial pressure. Marks received by different patients, with different basic systolic arterial pressures may be directly compared between them and represent the cerebral risk of these patients. The same, tensional variations in a patient will represent variations in the size of his cerebral risk. These variations can be expressed as a percent variation in direct relation to the basic arterial pressure of the specific patient; a percentage of different patients with different basic systolic arterial pressures can be directly compared. Using this scale a group of patients can be treated statistically and compared with another group.
